ABA Assistant - Reading

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and caring ABA Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Behaviour Analysts, Therapists, or Teachers who want to build valuable, hands-on experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.

As an ABA Assistant, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
• Support students in developing communication, social, emotional, and independent living skills.
• Implement individualised programmes and strategies under the guidance of experienced staff and behaviour professionals.
• Encourage positive behaviours and help students engage actively in learning and daily routines.

We're looking for an ABA Assistant who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people.
• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN and behaviour support.
• Interested in gaining practical experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis, psychology, education, or therapy.
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.

• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
