Location: Fleet, Hampshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (Target OTE £50,000)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our client base across our HR, Recruitment and Safeguarding businesses.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building lasting relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.

Working across Bramah HR and Bramah Safeguarding CIC, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new client relationships and promoting our range of professional services to organisations across the UK.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, confident and motivated by results, with the ability to understand client challenges and offer tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Proactively identify, target and secure new business opportunities across HR consultancy, recruitment and safeguarding services.
• Lead Generation: Generate new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.
• Client Meetings: Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective clients, understand their requirements and present appropriate solutions.
• Sales Conversion: Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and relationship building through to negotiation and securing new business.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce existing clients to additional services across our businesses.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, HR Directors, CEOs and senior leadership teams.
• Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms and successfully convert opportunities into new clients.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, track opportunities and provide regular updates on sales performance.
• Market Development: Identify emerging markets, sectors and commercial opportunities for our services.
• Networking: Represent our businesses at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, resilient and genuinely enjoys developing new business.
Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales or a similar commercially focused role.
• A strong track record of generating leads, winning new clients and achieving sales targets.
• Confidence in approaching senior decision-makers and developing relationships from initial contact through to contract.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
• Excellent organisational skills and experience managing a sales pipeline.
• A high level of professionalism, integrity and accountability.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience selling professional services, particularly HR consultancy, recruitment, training, compliance or safeguarding services.
• Experience selling retainer-based or recurring-revenue services.
• An established network of business contacts.
• Experience working across multiple service offerings or business divisions.
