Damp & Mould / Estate Services Operative

📍 Location: Housing stock / estates
💷 Pay: £31,508 per annum.
🚐 Van provided
🔄 Perm opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould / Estate Services Operative to work within occupied properties and communal areas.

Main duties:

• Carry out mould treatment and deep cleaning in occupied homes
• Remove affected wallpaper where required and apply anti-fungal treatments
• Move furniture and protect flooring before works
• Inspect and improve loft insulation, including fitting new insulation where required
• Investigate minor leaks and carry out basic repairs
• Remove/refit kitchen plinths and bath panels and carry out silicone sealing
• Painting and cleaning of communal areas
• Grounds and estate maintenance, including keeping paths, courtyards and communal areas clean and tidy
• Assist with void clearance and other estate services duties when required
• Complete fire risk assessment actions and provide photographic evidence
• Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable driving a 3.5 tonne Transit tipper
• Previous experience in maintenance, property services, cleaning, damp & mould, caretaking or a similar role
• Good communication skills as the role involves working in resident's homes
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
