English Teacher 📍 Reading, RG1 📅 Immediate Start | Contract Until End of September (Potential Extension) 💷 Competitive Daily Rate
Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Reading (RG1) on a temporary basis.
This role is initially to provide cover until the end of September, with the potential for the contract to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
