Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive to join our client’s team in Basingstoke. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated automotive sales professional with a background in B2B sales or key account management within the automotive sector. The Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business, cultivating long-term client relationships, and increasing sales of both cars and commercial vehicles across leading brands.

Duties of a Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive:

• Engage with local small to medium-sized businesses, providing tailored vehicle solutions and fostering strong customer relationships
• Prospect new business opportunities through site visits, meetings, and market research
• Handle vehicle quotations using various financial options such as contract hire, PCP, and finance lease
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial quotation to order processing and vehicle delivery as a Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive
• Collaborate with manufacturer teams to identify new sales opportunities and increase market penetration
• Maintain current product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients
• Ensure detailed, accurate record-keeping within order management systems
• Comply with all service level agreements and company policies

Requirements of a Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive: 

• Proven experience in automotive sales, particularly within B2B or key account management roles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Ability to generate new business and develop long-lasting client relationships
• Highly organised with excellent multitasking and time management skills
• Proficient in order management systems and sales software
• Valid UK driving licence is essential
• Knowledge of vehicle finance processes and the automotive market is highly desirable
