HGV Class 2 Driver – Thame

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Thame.

Salary: £16.72 per hour

2 weeks: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

1 week: Monday to Friday, 7:00pm – 4:00am

Monday to Friday only

Immediate start available

Temporary contract until at least mid-December

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a temporary position with an immediate start, working through until at least mid-December.

The successful candidate will be supporting the management and maintenance of the landscape and ecology of the M40 road network across Oxfordshire.

The Role

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle as part of the operational team
  
  
• Supporting works across the M40 road network in the Oxfordshire area
  
  
• Assisting with minor landscaping and general outdoor duties when required
  
  
• Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and in accordance with relevant legislation
  
  
• Working as part of a professional and supportive team
  
  

Shift Pattern

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

• 2 weeks: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
  
  
• 1 week: Monday to Friday, 7:00pm – 4:00am
  
  
• Monday to Friday only
  
  
• Immediate start available
  
  
• Temporary contract until at least mid-December
  
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Hold a current UK Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence
  
  
• Have no more than 6 penalty points, with only minor offences considered
  
  
• Hold a valid Driver CPC
  
  
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digicard)
  
  
• Be comfortable carrying out some minor landscaping and outdoor duties alongside driving
  
  
• Have a reliable and flexible approach to work
