What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Performing inspections and preventative maintenance across a commercial vehicle fleet
• Diagnosing faults using dealer-level diagnostic tools as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
• Assisting with wheel alignment and tyre fitting
• Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and compliance throughout

Pay and Benefits

• £45,000 basic salary plus overtime at 1.5x

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or LCV Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic within a commercial vehicle environment
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards
• Full UK driving licence
