Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity in a secondary school?

Simply Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced HLTAs to work across secondary schools we support throughout Buckinghamshire.

As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting students and teaching staff across the school.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities
• Supporting students individually or in small groups
• Covering lessons when required
• Supporting students with their academic and personal development
• Working alongside teachers and school leadership
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting students with different learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working as an HLTA
• Ideally have experience within a secondary school environment
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Are confident delivering lessons and supporting learning
• Can build positive relationships with students
• Are reliable, professional and enthusiastic
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Can work effectively as part of a wider school team

SEND experience would also be highly desirable, particularly for candidates interested in supporting students with additional needs.
