Job Description:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in medical equipment installation, commissioning or implementation?

We are working with an established organisation that is looking for an experienced and highly organised Medical Equipment Implementation Project Manager to take ownership of multiple equipment installation projects across NHS sites.

This is a senior, client-facing project role where you will coordinate internal teams, customers, building contractors, Estates departments and clinical users to ensure complex installations are delivered safely on time and within budget.

You will manage a programme of small to medium-sized projects from initial planning through to successful implementation, ensuring that projects are properly resourced, risks are managed and all stakeholders are kept fully informed throughout.

The role:

• Managing the end-to-end implementation programme across multiple NHS sites.
• Developing and managing project plans, timelines, resource plans and delivery strategies.
• Coordinating internal teams, customers, building contractors, Estates departments and clinical stakeholders.
• Managing project risks, changes, resources and deadlines.
• Monitoring progress and taking action to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Producing clear and accurate project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing regular updates and maintaining effective communication throughout each project.
• Attending NHS client meetings and acting as a key point of escalation for implementation issues.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring projects are delivered to the required outcome.

Experience needed:

The most important requirement is hands-on experience of installing, commissioning and/or servicing high-value diagnostic imaging or other medical equipment.

You will ideally have experience working with:

• NHS or other public-sector organisations
• Clinical end users
• Hospital Estates departments
• Building contractors
• Multiple sites and multidisciplinary teams
• Complex medical equipment installations and implementation projects

You will need to be a confident Project Manager who is comfortable managing several projects simultaneously and dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm, focused and solutions-oriented when managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
