Quality Technologist - Food Manufacturing - Farnham - Up to £30,000Are you experienced within food or drink manufacturing and used to working in an environment where hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards have to be spot on?
TeamJobs are recruiting for a Quality Technologist to join a growing manufacturing business in Farnham.
This is a hands-on, factory-floor role where you'll be responsible for making sure hygiene, quality and food safety standards are consistently maintained across production.
🚗 You MUST have a full UK driving licence and your own car due to the location.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out regular factory hygiene, quality and GMP checks
- Ensuring production areas, equipment and processes meet required cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Monitoring cleaning procedures and hygiene practices across the factory
- Checking products and production processes meet food safety and quality standards
- Identifying and challenging poor hygiene or quality practices
- Reviewing production paperwork and quality records
- Investigating quality or hygiene issues and supporting corrective actions
- Supporting audits, traceability, HACCP and GMP requirements
- Working closely with Production, Technical and Engineering teams
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience within food or drink manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Experience working in an environment with strict hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Previous Quality, QA, Technical, Hygiene or quality-focused production experience
- Good understanding of food safety, GMP and HACCP
- Confident carrying out factory-floor checks and challenging anything that isn't up to standard
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence AND own car - essential
Experience within bottling, liquid production, fermentation or probiotics would be advantageous.
Salary & Hours:
- Up to £30,000 per annum
- Permanent position
- 37.5 hours per week
- Farnham
- Some flexibility for early, late or occasional weekend cover
