Service Advisor

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (No Weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service.

• Book vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, and repairs.

• Prepare accurate estimates and explain work required in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

• Liaise with workshop technicians to monitor repair progress.

• Keep customers updated throughout the service process.

• Obtain authorisation for additional work where required.

• Produce invoices and arrange smooth vehicle handovers.

• Promote additional products and services where appropriate.

• Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy aftersales environment.

• Experience using dealer management systems is desirable.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.
