Setting Out Engineer – Reading – 1 Week

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer for 1 week’s work on a commercial construction project near Reading, starting Monday 21st September.

The successful engineer will primarily be required to set out pins and levels across the project and must have their own setting out equipment.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and competent Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer to assist on a busy commercial project.

The role will predominantly involve putting out pins and levels, ensuring works are set out accurately and in accordance with site requirements.

Key Duties

• Setting out pins and levels
• Carrying out accurate site measurements
• Establishing and checking levels
• Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Liaising with the site management team
• Ensuring all setting out work is completed accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer
• Strong setting out and levelling experience
• Must have own setting out equipment
• Relevant construction/site engineering experience
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Valid CSCS card
• Full PPE
• Reliable and available for the full week from 21st September
