About the Role

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support for a well-established social care provider in Bedfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex support needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care where required.
• Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
• Administering or assisting with medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
• Building positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
• Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.

 

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a support worker is essential
• NVQ Level 2/3 desireable
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working various shift patterns.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service 
• Right to work in the UK.
