Job Description:

EmpowerED is recruiting multiple SEN Teaching Assistants in Maidenhead for a specialist school supporting children and young people with autism and additional needs.

These are permanent positions, ideal for people who want to build a long-term career in SEND and work in a supportive specialist environment.

The role

• Support pupils with autism and additional needs
• Work 1:1 and in small groups
• Help pupils with learning, communication and emotional regulation
• Support independence, confidence and life skills
• Work alongside teachers, therapists and wider support staff
• Follow individual support and behaviour plans

Experience in SEND, schools, care, youth work or support work is useful, but we’re also happy to hear from people with strong transferable skills and the right attitude.
