Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established business based in Ash.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position, with the potential to secure permanent employment following a successful temporary period.
Previous Reach Forklift Truck experience would be highly advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from candidates with strong warehouse experience who are keen to develop their skills.

What's on Offer

• £13.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• No weekend working

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
• Operating a Reach Forklift Truck where trained and authorised
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Supporting general warehouse operations as required

Skills, Experience & Training Requirements

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred
• Reach Forklift Truck experience is highly desirable
• A valid Reach Forklift Truck certificate would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical warehouse duties
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Ideally, you will have previous experience operating a Reach Forklift Truck alongside general warehouse duties. However, candidates with a strong warehouse background and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
